Helium tank explodes on camera in Tamil Nadu market; 1 dead, 4 injured
On Sunday evening, a helium tank exploded when he was buying balloons from a roadside vendor on a busy market area in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy.
The explosion caused minor injuries to at least four people. Ravi, 35, was recognised as the victim.
Nar Singh, the balloon salesman, was arrested and accused with “causing death by negligence.”

The explosion was captured on CCTV cameras installed in a textile showroom in the city’s Fort district, outside of which the vendor sold balloons.
Following the explosion, the video shows people running in all directions. The blast also destroyed an autorickshaw and a couple two-wheelers.
