The US Congress to Publicly Hear from military officials over UFO sightings on May 17

For the first time in 50 years, the US House will be arranged to hold an open congressional hearing on Tuesday, May 17, over unidentified flying objects (UFOs) since 1960. House Intelligence Committee’s subcommittee, on Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Counterproliferation will hold a public hearing to shed some light on UFOs – more formally known as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) according to CNN.

Indiana Representative Andre Carson will be chairing the hearing. Mr. Carson tweeted on Twitter, notified that Congress hasn’t held a public hearing on UFOs in over 50 years. “That will change next week when I lead a hearing in House Intelligence on this topic and the national security risk it poses. Americans need to know more about these unexplained occurrences,” he said.

Based on a video shows an encounter between a Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet and an unknown object. It was released by the US Defense Department’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.
