Video: Murder Accused Cutting Birthday Cake In A Police Van in Maharashtra
When someone commits a crime, they will face severe consequences and punishments. In the end, the fear of punishment, the law, and the police forces is what makes a citizen hesitate before committing any kind of horrible crime.
Following online discussion regarding the work ethics of the police, the Maharashtra Police department opened an investigation on Saturday in response to a viral video showing a 28-year-old murder suspect cutting his birthday cake while seated inside a police vehicle in the Maharashtra city of Ulhasnagar.
In connection with a murder investigation, Roshan Jha, a native of Ulhasnagar in the Thane district, is incarcerated in Kalyan’s Adharwadi jail. The gangster is charged with multiple counts of murder, as well as attempts to murder and extortion.
Jha was presented to the Kalyan Sessions Court on August 20 for a hearing, after which he sat in the van and afterwards celebrated his birthday.
Later on Saturday, images and videos circulated online showing the suspected murderer slicing a cake through the van’s window as scores of his buddies applauded.
Following widespread criticism of the police’s performance and morals, an investigation has been launched by the police to look into the situation. “The police escort team from Thane Rural police brought him to court. The matter is being looked at, a police official said.
