A 13-year-old student’s lifeless body was found hanging at his school in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur district on Monday, police said.
A boy who was identified as Dilip Yadav (13), was a student of class eight, and he has not been coming to classes for the past several days. The principal of the school in Ranipatti village said.
The body was discovered by an outsider who happened to visit the Composite School Rani Patti school on Monday morning, said that a student was hanging a scarf the person see it through the window of the backside of the school, Inspector-in-Charge, Madiyahun, KK Choubey said.
He has been rush to the Community Health Centre after the school staff had received the news they reach the spot and he was brought down from the noose, unfortunately, the doctor declared him dead.
Police have taken the body into custody and sent it to the mortuary for the postmortem.
Principal Shashank Mishra has said, the student was not attending classes for three days and was unknown when he came to the school premises and took the extreme step.
