“I remember Narendra ji fighting a crocodile when he was young”; Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, during which he took a dip in the Ganges river.
“For the first time, I observed only one person bathing in the Ganga, therefore Yogi Ji was removed and Rajnath Singh was marginalized….
“I remember Narendra ji fighting a crocodile when he was young, and I believed he didn’t know how to swim…struggling with his hands,” Gandhi stated.
“A ‘Hindutvavadi’ bathes alone in Ganga, while a Hindu bathes with crores of people,” Gandhi stated, referring to Prime Minister Modi’s sacred dip in the Ganga during his Varanasi tour. Narendra Modi claims to be a Hindu, but when was the last time he stood up for the truth? …He suggested that people bang thalis to get rid of COVID…Hindu or Hindutvadi?”
Rahul Gandhi, who visited his former Lok Sabha constituency of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, unleashed a stinging attack on the BJP-led federal and state governments on a variety of issues, including unemployment and demonetisation.
The anti-inflationary stance of Congress “”Every lane in Amethi is the same today,” Gandhi stated at a BJP Bhagao, Mehangai Hatao rally in Jagdishpur. There is only now resentment of the government in the eyes of the populace. There is still space in the hearts, as there was previously. Against injustice, we are still united.”
