A Pilot was Killed after Army Cheetah Helicopter Crashed in Kashmir

An Army Cheetah helicopter on its way to pick up sick BSF men crashed near the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Gurez Sector on Friday, killing the pilot and injuring the co-pilot, according to officials.
According to PTI, the helicopter was set to land but “drifted away” due to meteorological conditions.

The accident occurred at Gujran Nallah in the Bandipora area of north Kashmir’s Gurez Sector. Officials reported that rescue teams have been dispatched on foot, while air reconnaissance teams are searching for survivors.

Further reports are awaited.
