There will be a 14-day bank holiday in July in the country. Some of the bank holidays during this month will vary from state to state. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) divides bank holidays into three categories: holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holidays.
It should be noted that many bank holidays vary from region to region and from bank to bank. As previously mentioned, July has 14 bank holidays, seven of them are extended weekends. However, there are eight regional holidays during which certain lenders remain closed due to events in those particular locations. There will be 15 bank holidays if we combine the two categories. On July 9, the second Saturday of the month, all banks are closed due to Bakrid, a regional holiday for Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. There will be 14 bank holidays in July as a result of the conflicting July 9 bank holiday.

July 1 (Ratha / Kang Yatra): Banks will be closed in Bhubaneswar and Imphal.
July 3 (Sunday): Banks across the country will be closed.
July 7 (Kharchi Puja): Banks will be closed in Agartala.
July 9 (second Saturday, Bakrid): Apart from being a second Saturday, when banks will be closed nationwide, banks in Kerala’s Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram will close due to Bakrid.
July 10 (Sunday): Banks across the country will be closed.
July 11 (Eid-ul-Adha): Banks across the country will be closed
July 13 (Bhanu Jayanti): Banks will be closed in Gangtok.
July 14 (Beh Dienkhlam): Banks will be closed in Shillong.
July 16 (Harela): Banks will be closed in Dehradun.
July 17 (Sunday): Banks across the country will be closed.
July 23 (Fourth Saturday): Banks across the country will be closed.
July 24 (Sunday): Banks across the country will be closed.
July 26 (Ker Puja): Banks will be closed in Agartala.
July 31 (Sunday): Banks across the country will be closed.
