On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin India’s largest drone festival, interacting with Kisan drone pilots and watching open-air drone demos.
The ‘Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022’ will take place on May 27 and 28. Modi will kick off India’s largest drone festival, the ‘Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022,’ on May 27 at 10 a.m. at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
According to the statement, the prime minister will meet with Kisan drone pilots, watch open-air drone demos, and interact with startups at the drone exhibition center.
The festival will attract over 1,600 delegates, including government officials, foreign diplomats, armed forces, central armed police forces, public sector undertakings, commercial companies, and drone startups.
The event will feature more than 70 exhibitors displaying various drone use cases, according to the press release.
The Mahotsav will also feature a virtual awarding of drone pilot licenses, product debuts, panel discussions, flying demos, and the display of a Made in India drone taxi prototype, among other activities, according to the announcement.
