Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi have no plan to meet with US Secretary of State Blinken at the East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Phnom Penh.
FM Wang Yi furiously opposed the visit of US House Nancy Pelosi on the other day as provocative action on the Taiwan issue was not an accident.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi said “those who play with fire will not come to a good end, and those who offend China will be punished”.
“The United States is violating China’s sovereignty under the guise of so-called democracy,” he added.
