On June 2, Congress president Sonia Gandhi tested positive for COVID-19, according to the party’s chief spokesperson, Randeep Surjewala. On June 8, she was summoned to the Enforcement Directorate for interrogation in connection with the National Herald case.
Gandhi has had a moderate temperature and some symptoms, according to Surjewala, and has isolated herself.
He also stated that her date of appearance before ED on June 8th remains same as of today.
