On Tuesday morning, an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck north of Alchi (Leh), Jammu and Kashmir, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
At 7.29 a.m., an earthquake struck 186 kilometres north of Alchi hamlet in the Leh area of Jammu and Kashmir.
NCS tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude 4.3, Occurred on 29-03-2022, 07:29:39 IST, Lat: 35.87 and Long: 77.47, Depth: 148 Km, Location: 186km N of Alchi (Leh), Jammu and Kashmir.”
