The shooting erupted early Sunday at Airbnb rental on the city’s North side where roughly 20
people were gathered.
A total of 10 people were shot in which 2 were lost their lives in the shooting took place at the
party and most of them were juveniles, 5 of them were injured by jumping out of the windows to
escape and falling down from the stairs leads them to broke their bones and cuts fleeing the
chaotic scene. Injured victims were taken to the hospitals.
“As many as 50 rounds were fired inside, prompting some party-goers to jump out the windows,
sustaining injuries such as broken bones and lacerations,” according to the police statement.
“Several more shots were fired outside the home.”
Gun shots started after an ” Alternation”, and multiple shooters engaged in the shooting,victims
suffering from bullets wounds were found near the home and taken to the hospitals by
ambulance and other gunshots victims were taken to area hospitals in private cars including two
juveniles pronounced dead upon arriving to the emergency rooms , authority said.
A preliminary investigation found that the shooting occurred during a large party being held at
the short-term rental property, “with as many as 200 people in attendance, many of them
underage,” according to the police statement.
