Through the lion’s enclosure’s fence, the man at Jamaica Zoo attempted to pet him. As he battled to get free from its jaws, the lion bit the man’s finger. The man’s finger becomes locked in the lion’s mouth, stretching out for approximately a foot before snapping. This catapults the man away, leaving only a white skeletal finger behind.
It is necessary to keep in mind that wild animals are not in their native surroundings, and interfering with them will not benefit anyone. Visitors to zoos should observe the rules and remain away from the animal enclosures. Many signs are posted in zoos warning people not to tamper with the animals, but people continue to go insane and engage in childish behavior.
