Maryam Nawaz, leader of the PML-N party in Pakistan, lambasted Khan on Friday after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan heaped praise on India during his national address. Nawaz urged Khan to leave the country and move to India.
Imran Khan remarked that no European ambassador has the courage to tell India what its foreign policy should be toward Russia just a day before the key no-confidence vote against his government.
Mr Khan reiterated the foreign hand claim, saying that no superpower can dictate terms to India. The Supreme Court’s decision has upset me. I was upset because the Supreme Court should have looked at the investigation done by the Deputy Speaker.
“Indians are a proud people who take pride in their heritage. They can’t be told what to do by anyone else. However, I believe that no superpower has the authority to do this to India (interfere in its foreign policy)
Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz blasted him, telling him that if he likes India so much, he should leave Pakistan and live in India.
“Someone should remind a person who is going insane because of the loss of power that he was ousted only by his own party. If you really like India, then you should move there and leave Pakistan behind “she said herself.
She went on to say on her official Twitter profile, “Those who praise India so well should be aware that there have been 27 no-confidence resolutions against successive Indian prime ministers, yet no one has tampered with the constitution, democracy, or ethics. Vajpayee was defeated by a single vote, he went home. He did not take the country, constitution and nation hostage like you!”
