Kalash Gupta, a computer science and engineering student from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, has won the TCS CodeVita season 10 worldwide coding competition, which attracted over 100,000 participants from 87 countries (TCS). According to Guinness World Records, CodeVita is the world’s largest computer programming contest. Chile finished first and second runner-up, respectively, in the competition.
India took first place in the coding competition, with Chile and Taiwan coming in second and third place, respectively.
Kalash received a grant amount of $10,000 after grabbing the first place while the second and third runners-up received $ 7000 and $ 3000 respectively.
Tata Consultancy Services hosted the world’s largest coding competition, CodeVita Season 10, which attracted over 1 lakh participants from 87 countries.
“I never expected to be in the top three when I started the challenge, but it’s been a very humbling experience.” The reward money ($10,000) excites me greatly. I wasn’t sure at first because the first problem took longer than I anticipated. But as I continued, solving some of the other questions, I developed more confidence in my final standing, and I knew I’d be in the top three,” Gupta said on Friday.
