The two countries with the greatest diversity of species of these tiny land-dwelling frogs are Colombia and Ecuador, and scientists believe there are still many more species to be found.
Jhael Ortega, Jorge Brito, and Santiago Ron, three herpetologists from Ecuador, made this most recent discovery.
