The 6.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Iran on Saturday was felt in Dubai, near the southern Iran coast resulting in at least five being killed, and as many as 50 were reportedly injured in effective quake and aftershocks in Iran’s southern province of Hormozgan.
The quake struck at 02:00 local time on Saturday (21:30 GMT Friday) near the coast, 100km (60 miles) southwest of the provincial capital Bandar Abbas.
THE DAMAGES OF THE VILLAGE
A magnitude 6.1 quack left severe damage in the village of Sayeh Khosh, Iran, including five innocent lives. It was followed by two more intense quakes in the area. The village, Sayeh Khosh, was flattened, local officials said.
Sayeh-Khosh village has been encountered the hardest hit in Hormozgan by the 2nd powerful quake in a week. The village has been ruined by the earthquakes and there are casualties.
