Did Cartier secure Blackpink’s Jisoo as brand ambassador by doubling Dior’s offer to her?

Jisoo, a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, appears to have accepted a large sum of money to become the brand ambassador for French luxury goods manufacturer Cartier. According to Pop Base, a pop culture-related outlet, in order to get Jisoo as a global ambassador for ‘Panthere De Cartier,’ the firm reportedly had to double Dior’s contract offer to her, following a contract war between the two fashion companies.

Cartier announced in May that Jisoo, who is noted for her classic and elegant sense of style, had been chosen as the French luxury brand’s newest worldwide ambassador.

Jisoo joins the Panthere alongside current global ambassadors Annabelle Wallis, Ella Balinska, and Mariacarla Boscono.

This is yet another big milestone for Jisoo’s Blackpink band members, who are also known for being global ambassadors for premium fine jewellery brands, with Rose promoting ‘Tiffany & Co.,’ Lisa representing ‘BVLGARI,’ and Jennie supporting ‘Chanel Jewelry.’

Members of Blackpink are among the world’s most powerful fashion influencers. Jisoo, like the other members, has a significant impact on the Gen Z and millennial markets.
