J&K Govt Forms SIT to Investigate Killing of Chadoora Tehsil Office Employee Rahul Bhat

According to the office of J&K lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha, the Jammu and Kashmir administration announced the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Friday to investigate the killing of Kashmiri Pandit employee Rahul Bhat in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district.


Bhat’s wife would be given a government job in Jammu, as well as financial help, according to the J&K L-G. The administration will cover the daughter of a deceased government employee’s schooling fees. On Thursday, militants affiliated with Pakistan’s Jaish-e-Muhammad shot Bhat dead inside his tehsil office in Chadoora town, Budgam district.
