Yet another troll scattering in social media by netizens over “nepotism” as Joya Akhtar’s upcoming film “The Archies” poster has been released ever since.
On Saturday, May 14 Netflix India’s official Instagram account published the first-look poster and a short teaser of the movie. The poster features the whole ‘Archies’ gang, posing in a woodland environment in 1960s outfits. Which will be released on Netflix next year in 2023.
The stars’ kids’ debutants take over the social media as they were sharing the screen, in the film. Shahrukh Khan also known as King Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan will be seen in this movie along with Indian film producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor who is the sister of actress Janvi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda who is Sweta Bachchan Nanda’s son and grandson of Amitabh Bachchan (Big B of Bollywood).
The three infamous star kids have been trolled bitterly by the netizens over a Netflix movie by Joya Akhtar for casting them. The word “nepotism” has been popular in Bollywood ever since actress Kangana Ranaut began commenting and has been often vocal about the issue. The “Nepokids” got the roles in the movies easily without struggling or being replaced with “Outsiders” in lead roles, said some actors and actresses on this hot topic.
And this is not a new topic in Bollywood it has been ever since Indian cinema started growing and more talented people around the country dreamt of setting their foot in the film industry. However, they are left with struggling to find good roles and people who has born with the opportunity and in power will recognise even before the “Outsiders” even could try on audition. Although, it depends on one’s talents and hardworking it should not be discriminated between “Outsiders” or “Insiders”.
