Karnataka Chief Minister tests Covid-19 positive

Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister of Karnataka, tested positive for Covid-19 and is being quarantined at home. He tweeted, “I request that everyone who has recently come into my contact isolate themselves and get tested.”

I have tested positive for COVID -19 today with mild symptoms. My health is fine, I am under home quarantine. I request everyone who have recently come in my contact to isolate themselves and get tested.

Late in the afternoon Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also informed through social media that he tested positive for the virus.
