Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday introduced the public mission to make India No. 1. The mission will focus on wellbeing, schooling, farming, and business. While addressing a social occasion in Delhi, Kejriwal said that India has accomplished a ton since its independence yet it has a lot to achieve. He mentioned that our country is lagging behind other countries that have acquired freedom after us. Kejriwal has urged all the citizens to join in this mission. He said that every citizen of India must be connected to this mission. “We have to make India the number one nation in the world once again. We have to make India great again. We are beginning a national mission called Make India No.1 today,” Kejriwal said. Delhi CM stressed on Tuesday that every child should get the basic necessity of a good and free education across the country. To make this dream come true everyone must collectively work on it. “Every child should get good and free education across the country.
Every person should get good and free treatment for healthcare purposes. We should now start this work on a war footing basis. Only then, India will become the number one country,” Kejriwal said. Kejriwal had also said that more than 17 crore children in India study in government schools that are in poor condition. Poor parents being helpless has no other option but to make their children study in an ill-maintained government school due to lack of money. Hence, Kejriwal emphasized a long-term goal where well-educated children today can make a family rich in the future, which in turn shall make India rich. “Over 17 crore children in the country study in government schools – most of the schools are in bad condition. Parents do not have money (to educate their children) in private schools. If we make these schools good, every child will make his family rich. If all these families become
rich, then India will also become rich,” he said.
He also said that he is ready to work along with the Centre if it is ready to improve the healthcare and education facilities in the country “I have only one dream- I want to see India as the most powerful country in the world. We want India to become a rich country. India will become rich when every Indian becomes rich. It cannot happen that the country is rich but the people are poor. I want to make every poor of India rich,” he said on Tuesday.
