A health department official in Mizoram stated on Sunday that the state has received 903 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 1,45,527.
On Saturday, the state reported 852 cases.
The death toll remained at 558 after no fresh fatalities were reported in the previous 24 hours.
According to the official, at least 117 children are among the newly affected people.
According to him, Aizawl district had the most new cases with 283, followed by Serchhip with 182 and Khawzawl with 150.
There are presently 4,367 active cases in Mizoram. So far, a total of 1,40,602 persons have recovered from the condition. According to the official, the state’s single-day positive rate was 15.86 percent, up from 15% the day before.
The survival rate was 96.61 percent, with a death rate of 0.38 percent.
