House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been in the headlines since her visit to Taiwan and meeting with its President to which China has responded aggressively by escalating military action in the region.
Pelosi gave her first interview since she returned to Washington after her trips and she talk live with Savannah Guthrie on “Today Show” host. Where she was asked about China’s reaction and Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence raid.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said when the host Savannah read out the statement issued by Republican leader Kevin Owen McCarthy over the raid on Trump’s Florida home, “No person is above the law, not even the President of the United States, not even a former President of the United States.”

Pelosi said that the United States “supports the policy of one China, and China itself is one of the freest countries in the world”.
