The Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) on Saturday decided to ban the sale and distribution of Pani Puri throughout the city after cholera bacteria were found in the water used to manufacture it.

The Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital in Teku is actively treating the infected.

In the past, five instances of cholera were discovered around the capital city. The two infected patients have already received care and been discharged.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Health and Population has asked the populace to visit their nearby medical institution right away if they exhibit any cholera symptoms.

People have been asked by the Ministry of Health and Population to visit their local health facility right away if they exhibit any cholera symptoms. Everyone has been urged to be vigilant by the ministry. On the other hand, internal plans have been established, according to Sitaram Hachethu, the head of the city police department, to prevent the selling of golgappas in the city’s congested regions and corridors. As diarrhoea, cholera, and other water-borne diseases are on the rise, particularly during the summer and rainy season, the ministry has urged everyone to exercise caution and vigilance.
