Bhopal: Farmer swept away in the river, body found after 2 days
Body of a 55-year-old man gone to watch swelling Chamari River in
Eintkhedi locality two days back, was found on Tuesday around 8km away
decomposed in Eintkhedi. His family members had filed a missing person’s
complaint.
Eintkhedi police investigation officer ASI Rajkumar Uikey said that the deceased
Avadhnarayan Vanshkar, 55, a resident of Kanera village in Eintkhedi, was a farmer.
His wife Lila sells corn near Raipur Jod in front of Nipania petrol pump. The couple
have a son Lakhan who told police that on July 10, Sunday morning, his father had
gone to see the swelling Chamari river and was missing since then. Late in the
evening, the family members reported the matter to Eintkhedi police.
On Tuesday afternoon, a local villager spotted his body floating in the water at
Chandukhedi village where Chamari and Kharedi rivers converge
