Rahul Gandhi's "morning run" video from his "Bharat Jodo Yatra" goes viral, sparking a meme fest

Rahul Gandhi, a Congress scion, was spotted sprinting alongside his fans on Sunday (October 30) while on the Telanaga leg of his "Bharat Jodo Yatra." The incident's footage has now become widely shared on social media.

Watch! Congressman Rahul Gandhi's early-morning run during the #BharatJodoYatra in Telangana, wrote NDTV in a tweet. The 52-year-old was spotted dashing down the street to the loud cheers of his party workers as his security guards chased after him. 

The Congress scion has spent the last five days in Telangana on his opulent "Padyatra." He'll probably speak at a gathering today at Solipur Junction in Shadnagar. Rahul Gandhi's theatrical attempts to avoid the spotlight were noticed by the general public, who viciously tormented him on Twitter.

Just before this video, a reporter incidentally questioned him about his electoral plan for the impending Gujarat and HP elections, according to Paras Jain. The Congress party is struggling to stay alive ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Under the Gandhi family's leadership, the grand old party steadily lost favour with the voters and is now trying one final time to change its political fortunes. So much so that after 20 years, the party held elections for the position of party president, and Mallikarjun Kharge, a Gandhi family supporter, was 'elected' with a landslide victory.

On September 7 of this year, Congress began its 3,570-km march from Kanniyakumari in Tamil Nadu, dubbed the "Bharat Jodo Yatra." The march would stretch for more than five months and pass through 12 States before coming to an end in Srinagar. 

Rahul Gandhi and 118 other Congress officials walk 22–23 kilometres (km) in two separate groups each day, from 7–10 am and 3:30–6 pm. During its nightly meetings, the party hopes to mobilise the public.
