Ratan Tata, who spoke at a government function in Assam with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, won many hearts with his remarks. “Aaj Assam ka bahut important din hai… (Today is a very important day for Assam),” the 84-year-old tycoon stated in Hindi, adding, “Whatever I say, I would say it from my heart.”
PM Modi inaugurated Asia’s largest cancer care network on Thursday in Assam, dedicating seven hospitals and setting the groundwork for as many more for cancer treatment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and businessman Ratan Tata inaugurated seven state-of-the-art cancer hospitals in Assam and lay the foundation stone for seven more.
Ratan Tata won hearts by his remarks in the event as he stated,”My last few years have been devoted to health. Make Assam a state that everyone acknowledges and respects “He drew attention to a particular point. “Today marks a watershed moment in Assam’s history. It is the day that Assam advances in terms of healthcare and cancer treatment… It is truly a day when the state is prepared to help millions of people with cancer, which is not a wealthy sickness. Without the chief minister… and, of course, without the Prime Minister’s assistance, none of this would have happened.”
Since the outset, Ratan Tata has been a strong supporter of Assam Cancer Care. His statements, “the last years of my life are committed to health,” drew applause from the locals and the entire Indian population.
