For positions as an electrical engineer, RITES Limited, a government-owned company under the Ministry of Railways, is accepting applications. Application deadline is October 10 on the careers page of rites.com. Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) degree is the minimum requirement for these positions.
Candidates from the General/EWS category (as well as those from the SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD applying for unreserved positions) must have a first-class degree or at least 60% in their final examination. Candidates from the reserved category need to score at least 50%.
As of September 1, the maximum age for these positions is 40 years old. There are 11 open positions in total.
Eligible applicants will be asked to take a written exam based on the applications they have submitted.
Candidates who meet all other qualifying requirements and perform well on the written test will be contacted for an interview.
Based on an 80-20 split of the written exam and interview scores, the final score will be determined.
