King Khan was fined Rs 6.83 lakh at the Mumbai airport; here's why?
The celebrity and his team were detained by customs for an hour at the airport and questioned about the expensive watches that he had purchased in the United Arab Emirates.

At the Sharjah Book Fair on Friday, November 11, Shah Rukh Khan was one of the honourable guests. After attending the event, the Indian actor flew back to Mumbai late on Friday night in a private charter flight, flight VTR-SG, with his manager Pooja Dadlani, bodyguard Ravi, and a few other people.
The celebrity and his team were detained by customs for an hour at the airport and questioned about the expensive watches that he had purchased in the United Arab Emirates. When customs officers searched their bags, they discovered pricey watches valued roughly Rs 18 lakh. Espirit, Babun & Zurbk, and Apple series watches are among the foreign names of the watches, and their combined retail costs reach Rs 17 lakh 56 thousand 500. Inside their suitcases, empty Rolex watch boxes were also discovered.
Shahrukh and Pooja were given permission to leave the airport after around an hour of questioning, but Ravi, the actor's bodyguard, and the rest of the crew remained to finish the remaining steps. Shah Rukh's bodyguard Ravi evaluated the price of the watches and used the actor's credit card to pay the custom duty of Rs 6 lakh 83 thousand. After doing this, his entire team was then permitted to go.
