Sunny Deol’s missing poster appears in Pathankot: ‘Gumshuda ki talash’

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol’s “Missing” posters have surfaced in Pathankot, Punjab. Sunny Deol is a BJP MP. A number of homes, train stations, and vehicles in the city have the posters, “gumshuda ki talash (search for missing)” up against the Gurdaspur MP. Using a BJP ticket, Deol had triumphed in the 2019 General Elections. Deol never visited Gurdaspur after being elected as an MP, according to those who pasted the posters.

Deol should quit, the outraged villagers said, if he doesn’t want to work. “He never returned to Gurdaspur after being elected as the MP. He refers to himself as a Punjabi-born person, yet he hasn’t brought any central government initiatives, MP funds, or industrial growth to the region “A local protester was cited as saying by the news agency ANI.

Also, Deol did not participate in the recent Punjab assembly elections despite his celebrity status making him an attractive campaign candidate. Only one seat was won by the BJP in the Majha region – Pathankot. Ashwani Sharma, the BJP’s state president, was elected to this seat as an MLA.
