“The Kashmir Files” sticker on wedding invitation card with couple’s photo

The film ‘The Kashmir Files,’ based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the 1990 valley, showed the trauma, pain, and torture that the kashmiri pandits faced in the recent past, which was something that the rest of the country was not fully cognizant of.

The film touched every Indian heart, which cried with pain to see such barbaric attempts were made to this community. The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ was a huge success at the movie office, grossing close to Rs 250 million in India. The film, directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and starring Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar, and others, has received a fantastic reception from the public.

On Tuesday, April 5, Agnihotri posted a picture of a netizen’s wedding card with the film’s sticker on the back to his Twitter account. “#TheKashmirFiles sticker on the backside of the wedding invitation Card,” the filmmaker commented alongside a couple of photographs.

The top page of the wedding card states, “Rahul weds Shivani,” indicating that the couple is from Jammu. A few flyers are pasted beneath the hand-drawn poster for the film on the backside of the card. These black-colored papers with white-written lines read, “The Kashmir Files has accomplished many things: 1. It has awakened the nation. 2. It has revealed the country’s cabal, which is involved in cross-border terrorism. 3. It has exposed victim collaborators among the Hindu community of Kashmir.”
