Thieves did puja before stealing gold and cash from a finance firm in Kerala’s Kollam district, according to a peculiar story reported from Kerala. The heist occurred at Pathanapuram Bankers, a private financial institution in Pathanapuram town’s Janata Junction.
The robbers performed a pooja with liquor and betel leaves in front of the locker, which contained gold worth Rs 30 lakh and cash worth Rs 4 lakh.
When the cops arrived at the crime scene, they discovered that a ritual had been performed. A deity’s image was discovered on leaves. A little spear with a lime impaled on it and knotted with yellow thread, a bottle of liquor, and betel leaves were also discovered by the cops.
“The burglars apparently got to the first floor of the three-story structure through the roof.” They broke in the door after breaking the iron grills at the main entrance,’ an official reported. The officers went on to say that the criminals used a cutter to enter the lockers and steal the gold and cash.
