On Sunday, militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district opened fire on two non-locals. The event occurred in Nowpora, Pulwama’s Litter area. The two men, who worked as labourers, were sent to a nearby hospital.
One of the soldiers was sent to the SMHS tertiary care hospital in Srinagar after suffering a bullet wound to the chest. The other person had a leg injury. The two men, both from Punjab’s Pathankot, worked as drivers and helpers for a poultry waggon.
According to police, a case has been filed against the terrorists who shot the two labourers. “An investigation is underway. The area has been sealed off, and a search operation is underway, according to the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
“Around 7.15 p.m., terrorists opened fire on two non-locals, Dheeraj Dutt and Surinder Singh,” a police officer was reported by PTI as saying.
