UP Police officer tears up over poor food provided to them; video goes viral
A video of a police officer complaining the poor quality of food supplied to them has gone viral on social media.
Manoj Kumar, a constable who was spotted crying while mounting a protest, was later taken away by police. Kumar adds in the video clip, “The food that is being supplied is the kind that even an animal cannot eat, but it is offered to us.” The senior superintendent of police and the DCP are con artists. Police officers receive low-quality food from these individuals.”
He further claimed that poor quality food was served despite claims from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that allowances for police officers will be enhanced by roughly 30% to provide a balanced meal for them. The police mess manager, on the other hand, claimed that Kumar made needless commotion about the food’s quality.
“The Reserve Inspector thinks I’ll be suspended soon,” Kumar stated. I have informed DGP sir of the situation multiple times, but no solution has been provided to yet.” Senior district police officers refused to comment on the footage.
