In a viral video an 18-year-old woman, named, Ruby Marriott was seen crying out of fear while a person who impersonated Michael Jackson performs in a night club behind her.
The women revealed that she has a chronic fear of Michael Jackson and anything associated with the so-called ‘King of Pop’. In the video that went viral on social media was filmed by her older sister Macey while they were on a family holiday in Avia Napa.
The women said: “I have a genuine fear of Michael Jackson. It all started when I was younger at about five years old. My sister and my cousin used to show me creepy edited videos of him that people made and conspiracy theories that he’s alive, like photos of him in the background of photos and in people’s windows.”
Her fear is so bad that she can hardly listen to his music. She has leave the room whenever her family play his songs. ‘Even when his music plays, I have a rush of fear through me,’ she said. ‘Thriller is the main song that scares me, mainly because of watching the music video when I was younger and it is one of his biggest hits so it’s played around me a lot.’
She said that her phobia worsened during a family trip to Los Angeles when she was younger and one of her family members jokingly said “what if Michael Jackson is hiding in there?” reffering to a door.
While Ruby was not happy about the clip being posted, her elder sister found it’s hilarious.
