Water logging affects several parts of Mumbai due to heavy rainfall, IMD issues yellow alert
Several areas of Mumbai were under water after incessant rain over the previous 24 hours. A yellow alert has also been issued by IMD for the city today. The Hindmata neighbourhood in Mumbai is one of the locations experiencing waterlogging as a result of the nonstop rain. Within the following 24 hours, further rain is anticipated.

Since Friday morning, there have been heavy thunderstorms and abrupt downpours in Mumbai. On Friday, the traffic police had to halt the subway for more than an hour because the roads in Andheri were flooded.
The Dombivli (East) railway station, Gandhi Nagar, Milapnagar, Ambikanagar, Star Colony, Ramnagar, Ayregaon, and Bhopar were particularly seriously affected localities of Kalyan-Dombivli that were also swamped.
