Ayman al Zawahiri, the commander of Al Qaeda, has invited the global Muslim community, or Ummah, to accept renowned jihadist leaders as role models in a video issued by the group’s media wing “As Sahab.” The video statement is part of the series “Deal of the Century or Crusades Across Centuries,” which is on its fifth installment. The film, which calls for the admiration of past and contemporary Sunni jihadists, has not only sparked Islamic radicalization but also increased global terror danger ratings. Earlier movies in the series included Zawahiri denouncing Arab leaders and “educating” Muslims about Al Qaeda’s doctrine.
Zawahiri has reportedly threatened to undertake suicide strikes in major Indian cities, blaming India and Bangladesh for blasphemy against the Holy Prophet. According to intelligence reports, Zawahiri is now based near the Durand Line border in Afghanistan, while the Taliban administration disputes this and claims that the terror boss is in Iran. Al Qaeda, being a hardline Salafist terror organization, has no room for Shia or Sufi Islam.
