A CRPF Trooper Killed,12 Others Injured in Road Accident in J&K’s Srinagar

In a traffic accident in J&K’s Srinagar area on Tuesday, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper was killed and 12 others were injured. According to police reports, a truck collided with a CRPF vehicle in the Hyderpora bypass region, injuring 13 CRPF personnel.

“All of the injured CRPF troopers were sent to the BSF hospital at Humhama, where one constable, M.N. Mani, died from his injuries.”

The injured persons were identified as Manjesh Kumar, Driver Hemraj Saini, Sushant Biswas, Ganaga Ram, Inspector Ashish Mishra, ASI Jasraj Batti, Sushant Kumar Swain, Dilip Kumar, Shiv Kumar, Pramod Kiro, Gyan Prakash, and conductor of civil truck identified as Tanveer Hussain Dar son of Ghulam Hussain Dar, a resident of Balhama Srinagar.

According to authorities, two CRPF troopers, ASI Jasraj and constable Sushant Biswas, have been referred to the Army’s 92 Base Hospital.

Meanwhile confirming the occurrence, a police officer stated that a case had been filed and that further investigation had begun.
