The incident took place for the second time at North Garo Hills during Easter Monday Picnic,
report to be a person gone missing under water.
According to the eye witnessed the deceased person was above 25 years old, named Senja D.
Shira from Damas Chtikona. He was jumped to the river and never show up to the shallow water
but submerged and drowned under Chichra Manda River, Rongchong Wageasi.
Villagers reported the North Garo Hills police about the missing person and right when the
police were arrived to the place at 2 pm the dead body was found and already taken out of the
water by the locality people.
Likewise previously a man named John Clistzer Marak has been found dead drowned at South
Garo Hills, Emangre Fish Sanctuary.
Seeing tragedies taking place all over Garo Hills police urged the people to take responsibility
and careful and be safe.
Not only these incidents occurred during Easter Monday but many more such as, car and motor
bike crush at East Garo Hills but fortunately they survived with minor injuries. Another traffic
accident at Dobu area where autorickshaw flip and fell down to the side of the road fortunately
the diver and passengers were survived.
One should take their own responsibilities, and care more while driving or even when you go for
