Did Modi stopped the Russia-Ukraine war to evacuate Indian students? BJP's claims refuted by MEA

The Gujarat Assembly Election is the subject of intense political activity. By highlighting the accomplishments of the federal administration and PM Modi's popularity, all BJP officials are pleading for votes. Amit Shah, the country's home minister, spoke about ending the Russia-Ukraine War and evacuating Indian students.

Amit Shah said in an interview with News 18, that the 35 000 Indian students who are trapped are a first, and that PM Modi has asked the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to put an end to their conflict for two to three days while also ordering a 72-hour ceasefire. For every Indian, it is a matter of pride, he added.

On social media, the Home Minister's remark is spreading like wildfire. People are responding to this by citing the statement made by the Ministry of External Affairs, which claimed that they lacked knowledge on ending the war.

People in this place wonder whether Amit Shah, who claims that PM Modi stopped the war for 72 hours in order to bring back the Indian students trapped in the country, or Arindam Bagchi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, who claims that they do not have the information about stopping the war, is lying.

The similar assertion was made by BJP national president JP Nadda when campaigning for the upcoming Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. He said that 32000 Indian youth were stranded in Ukraine as a result of the Russia-Ukraine conflict while speaking to a crowd in Kotkhai. Over phone discussions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi pleaded for a cease-fire with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine before ordering the evacuation of the Indian citizens.

Interner flooded with tweets from users as one user posted: "Who are you fooling, your rebel MLA is not listening to Modiji, has gone to halt the conflict in Ukraine."

Another user @RajoraAshok1 added a comment. "You should rely on information from your officials; the Ministry of External Affairs has already made it plain that nothing similar has occurred,"
