Adipurush Teaser Fails To Impress Due To Its ‘Cartoonish’ VFX; ‘Raavan or Rizwan’ say fans

The most recent Adipurush teaser has received a lot of responses. While some praised Prabhas, of Bahubali fame, and Saif’s upcoming movie for how they depict Lord Rama and Raavan, respectively, others voiced dismay with the movie’s visual effects, which made it appear to be an animated film.

One of the most eagerly anticipated Indian movies of 2023 is Adipurush. On October 2, the movie’s teaser was unveiled during a large gathering at Ayodhya. The movie “Adipurush,” which is the director’s interpretation of the Valmikian epic “Ramayana,” is set 7,000 years in the past and stars Prabhas as Raghav, another name for Lord Ram. Saif Ali Khan portrays Ravana, also known as Lankesh (the ruler of Lanka), in the teaser, while Kriti Sanon plays Sita, also known as Janaki (the daughter of King Janaka).

The teaser, however, underwhelmed and infuriated internet users as soon as it was released, and social media users immediately began mocking it for its “bad VFX.” Saif’s appearance as Ravana, which featured short hair and a beard, led online users to speculate as to whether he was actually playing the role of Alauddin Khilji or Ravana.

One person posted on social media, “I mean truly!!! Will Ravan’s name be changed to Rizwan? Who is grooming his beard? Another person asked, “What kind of hair cut is Saif given?”

A user posted on the social networking website, saying, “I was mistaken about #Adipurush; we need a budget of at least 1000 crores to do the stories like the #Ramayana and the #Mahabharata justice. Although #Adipurush is promising, I am dissatisfied with the VFX and CGI. The money that Prabhas’s high fees cost the producers could have gone toward VFX.”
