Today, government representatives on the airline board will resign from their respective roles during a board meeting at 2.30 p.m., as the Centre transfers over AirIndia to the TataGroup after 69 years as its legitimate owner.
Meanwhile, Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekhar is in Delhi to observe the formal transfer. The Tata Group will make a formal declaration about the Air India handover process today.
