The Most Awaited Tune; Kesariya song from Brahmastra is out now!

Kesariya, the first song from the movie Brahmastra, has been made available by the producers. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are seen romancing in Varanasi in the video for the love song.
The first song from the upcoming movie Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, was released by the producers on Sunday. In the music video, Alia, who plays Isha, and Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Shiva, are seen romancing in Varanasi while listening to the song. Since a teaser video for the song was published prior to Ranbir and Alia’s wedding in April, fans have been impatiently awaiting the love anthem, and when the complete video was revealed, they complimented the couple’s chemistry.

On Sunday, Sony Music India posted the music video to its YouTube channel. Before releasing the song, Alia, Ranbir, and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji went live on Instagram and discussed how they had been working on it until the night before. Alia shared the song with the following description on her Instagram page: “Our sound of love, is now yours. Kesariya out now!”
Beginning with Alia and Ranbir making eye contact in a club, the music video. They embark on a boat, perform puja in a temple, then wander the alleys of Varanasi as Ranbir’s Shiva sings for Alia’s Isha and showers her with flower petals. At one point, Isha tells Shiva that the meaning of her name is Parvati, adding, “Ab Shiva ka saath Parvati nahi degi to kaun dega (If Parvati won’t stand by Shiva, who will)?” Toward the end of the song, the two were in tears as they looked into each other’s eyes.

Pritam wrote the music for the song, and Amitabh Bhattacharya penned the lyrics. Arijit Singh sang it in Hindi. For Brahmastra, it is the start of their musical adventure. Ayan said during their Instagram Live that they had intended for a different Brahmastra song—a track about Ranbir’s character Shiva—to be the film’s first single to be made available to the general audience. Due to the response to its teaser from the public, they chose to release Kesariya first.
During the live session, Ranbir added, “I have studied Hindi music, and I can’t recall the last time a song generated such excitement. We are incredibly grateful.” Brahmastra, the first in a three-part sci-fi film franchise, is preparing for a release on September 9 in five languages- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Ayan Mukerji film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
