An ATM in Maharashtra Dispensing 5 times more cash to customers; People rushed to withdraw

Due to a manual error during filling, an ATM in Maharashtra’s Nagpur area was dispensing five times more cash to consumers, according to PTI. According to reports, a man attempted to take Rs 500 from an ATM but was surprised when the machine produced five Rs500 cash notes. While attempting to withdraw 500, he repeated the process and received 2,500.

When the man went to take 500 rupees from an ATM in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district, he was greeted with five 500 rupee bank notes from the cash dispenser.

He went through the process again and received 2,500 rupees while attempting to withdraw Rs500. This occurred on Wednesday at a private bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Khaparkheda, around 30 kilometers from Nagpur.

The word quickly spread, and a large crowd gathered outside the ATM center to withdraw money.

According to a police spokesman from Khaparkheda police station, a bank customer called local police, who came to the scene and shut down the ATM center before informing the bank.

This continued until a bank customer alerted the local police, who hurried to shut down the ATM and notify the bank management.
