MP: Stage set for youth Mahapanchayat in Bhopal on July 23-24

An official said on Thursday that the Madhya Pradesh government will hold a “Youth Mahapanhayat” in the state capital of Bhopal on the 116th birth anniversary of liberation fighter Chandrashekhar Azad on July 23-24.

Shailendra Singh reviewed the plans via video conference with the chief secretary and higher education.
According to Singh, there will be six concurrent sessions for brainstorming on particular topics. The conclusions and recommendations from all the topical sessions will then be incorporated into a draft proposal.
On July 18, youth panchayats were conducted at the district level in honor of the 116th anniversary of independence warrior Chandrashekhar Azad’s birth. All district-level participants who had registered for Youth-Panchayat online received invitations to the chosen institutions and universities for an initial screening.

After confirming their eligibility, the invited individuals engaged in a group discussion. The selection committee examined the participants based on their performance in efficiency, conduct, topic knowledge, tolerance for opposing viewpoints, clarity of ideas, and capacity to maintain counterpoint.
For the Youth Mahapanchayat in Bhopal, where they will represent the district at the state level, the best participants from among these were chosen. In the upcoming episode, a bike ride would be organized from Bhabhra, the birthplace of independence warrior Amar Shaheed Chandrasekhar Azad, to Bhopal on July 21–22, according to the principal secretary for sports and youth development Deepti Gaur Mukherjee.
