Big to SP in UP, Mulayam Singh’s daughter-in-law Aparna joins BJP
In a move which could deal a blow to the Samajwadi Party ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Aparna Yadav, daughter-in-law of former state chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad M.Prasad Maurya & BJP State president Swatantra Dev Singh.
BJP Haryana in charge Arun Yadav informed about the same via a tweet on Tuesday.
“The nation always comes first for me. I admire PM Modi’s work,” said Aparna Yadav after joining BJ on the eve of the UP Assembly elections.Aparna Yadav is the wife of Prateek Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh’s second wife Sadhana Gupta.
However, in a huge breakthrough last week, several BJP leaders resigned and joined the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh a few weeks before the forthcoming Assembly Election.
Electors in the 403 assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh will vote in seven phases starting on February 10. Voting in Uttar Pradesh will take place on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7. Votes will be counted on March 10.
