The home of former National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) officer DK Mittal was raided by the Income Tax department early on Saturday morning. Sector-19 in Noida is where his home is. More than Rs 2 crore in cash and jewellery have reportedly been recovered as far, reports the news agency ANI. We are awaiting more information.

According to the source, DK Mittal, the former CGM of National Buildings Construction Corporation, or NBCC, and his family reside in the home that was the target of the IT raid. It is also reported that the amount of cash that IT took from the scene is measured in crores. Following the receipt of a sizable sum of money, machines were also called in to count the notes. According to reports, the family claimed the money, and the Income Tax Department then requested the family’s documents for the money.
The Mittal family is under investigation by the Income Tax Department. Also being examined are other documents. There is also a collection of electronic evidence. According to speculation, the raids were carried out in relation to a long-standing NBCC case.
