BJP politician Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga claimed that Smriti Irani’s daughter is a student in the US and has no link to the rumoured bar in Goa, despite the fact that Smriti Irani has not made any comments on the matter.
In response to news that a Goa restaurant purportedly managed by the minister’s daughter Zoish has received a notice for obtaining a liquor licence in the name of a deceased person, the Congress attacked Union minister Smriti Irani on Saturday. In a press conference where he demanded that PM Modi fire Smriti Irani, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera claimed that the officer who had the bravery to deliver the notice was being pursued and that plans were also being made for his removal. “Your children are either studying outside India, which is a very excellent thing, they should do, or are engaging in illicit activities under your patronage,” Pawan Khera remarked. “While the children of your supporters are engaged in Lulu Mall-Lulu Mall game, Hanuman Chalisa.”
One of the prohibited actions, according to the Congress leader, is holding a bar licence in someone else’s name who has passed away. No restaurant in Goa has two bar licences, and the establishment has bar licences without a legal permit to function as a restaurant, according to Pawan Khera.
“We want to know if the minister was unaware of all of these things. Additionally, we now know that the office is being transferred. Is it taking place without the minister’s help?” Petan Khera enquired.
Pawan Khera said, “Jairam Ramesh ji has learned that today morning bouncers of a very contentious security agency Thunder Force Security have been deployed around the bar to stop media persons.” He added that he will not use the name of Smriti Irani’s daughter because she is not involved in politics.
The Delhi BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga on Friday rejected the reports and stated Smriti Irani’s daughter is studying in the US and has no link to the bar, despite the fact that the Union minister has not yet made a statement regarding the scandal. According to a tweet from Bagga, “Congress goons are targeting the 18-year-old daughter on the orders of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.” “Smriti Irani’s daughter is not the owner of the restaurant so the question of she being sent notice does not arise. The 18-year-old girl is completing her studies currently out of India. It is a perfect case of defamation for maligning a young girl’s name for political reasons,” the BJP leader tweeted.
