We all adore our pets and perhaps nurture them excessively, but this tale from a Gujarati village is unquestionably inspirational. The residents of Gujarat’s Kushkal village in the Palanpur taluka of the Banaskantha district have a custom for stray dogs that gives them a comfortable existence and has earned them the title of “crorepatis.”
There are reports that the locals make sure that no dog from this region goes hungry. There are approximately 150 dogs in the region, and their diet includes laddoos on a regular basis.
Their ancestors established this unusual custom in which 20 bighas of farmland were given to the village’s stray dogs. That land is currently worth more than Rs 5 crore. Villager Prakash Chaudhari spoke candidly about his encounter and stated.
The majority of the 700 or so residents of the village are from Chaudhari communities.
A separate raised area has been built by the villagers to give food to stray dogs. To prepare and serve meals to the village’s animals, special utensils have been purchased.
